Extremely pleased with this living room transformation. It was a delight to stage this beautiful room, the existing hardwood floor and fireplace are beautiful! We wanted to keep the existing artwork, because it was so stunning - so we used a lovely low back sofa and plants to create a frame allowing the art to take centre stage.

Never underestimate the importance of good lighting!

Before staging, this room seemed a bit dark and uninviting.

We lifted the whole room with some strategic lighting, replaced the heavy curtains with some light voiles and of course up-dated the furniture!

My client, Siobhan, had a slight last minute panic about presenting her home for sale. We had a long chat about what changes could be made quickly and over the next few days I put together some 2D/3D layouts to really make use of what she already had and provided a virtual shopping list for some co-ordinating accessories for her to purchase prior to 'stage' day.

An occupied stage is always a bit tricky, especially when the client has children and also with many people putting makeshift offices together to work from home.

The golden rule is of course to declutter and depersonalise, but often clients don't realise little gems they have hidden in a corner somewhere that can be repositioned and breath a bit of life into a room. A simple repositioning of furniture can make a huge difference!
